At Rocking Horse Nursery we understand the importance of a dedicated, highly motivated team in order to provide the high quality care all parents wish for their child. All our staff undergo a rigorous interview procedure along with the usual Criminal Records Bureau checks. All staff have or are working towards the NVQ Level 3 and have all also received relevant child protection training with all holding both first aid and food hygiene courses.
Staff at Rocking Horse are assigned to specific rooms meaning that they really build a close relationship with the children in that room and are therefore effective key workers to their assigned children. But at the same time they gain experience in all age ranges as they interact across the nursery. The way we plan our day means children and team members from each room are constantly mingling, this means that all children at Rocking Horse are completely comfortable with all our staff.
